Hey there all.

1. I have found a decent site for finding good deals on PC parts. Some of you probably already know about it. heh Oreoooo?

Type what you are looking for into this sweet canada-only website:

www.shopbot.ca (http://www.shopbot.ca)

It will automatically look up the current price of the product from its database of retailers. Shopbot can save you alot of time and some decent cash.

2. Here is a list of Canadian PC retailers:
www.ncix.com - Great variety at a great price. Speedy shipping. No PST.
www.directcanada.com - Super fast shipping, very reasonable prices. No PST.
www.tigerdirect.ca - This shop has some great deals if you have the right timing.
www.canadacomputers.com - Usually slow shipping. Skullcrusher loves them.
www.pcvonline.com - Ontario based, they have some good deals, cheap shipping.

3. Check out the NR Marketplace here: http://www.northernresistance.com/forum/showthread.php?t=247

4. http://www.buysell.com - make sure to select your search area at the top of the website. Great for local/used equipment.

5. Check local hock shops. Remember with hock shops there are no taxes.

6. www.ebay.ca and www.ebay.com - Buy from .ca when you can. Use .com if the price is right. Watch out for import duties and tarriffs if buying from a seller in another country. ALWAYS check a) seller feedback and b) cost of shipping before bidding.

Any other reccommendations are welcome :)

ncix by far has the best reputation although direct canada is ALOT cheaper with just about all there stock while tigerdirect is probably the best of the three for navigation/research but they are expensive...

i plan on buying from directcanada soon due to $30 less than ncix for a processor/hsf

NCIX is the only company in North America that is selling the ASUS Eee though...and that is very tempting.

Zimba don't buy through directcanada because they will charge you more in tax, what you all should do is use NCIX but from there do a price compare to reap the benifits of them being located in BC.

The only advantage of ncix is price matching, and the only reason im doing this is because the processor im getting comes with graw2 on ncix...and thats if they can match it
