Today is the day of the anniversary that the towers fell. It is sad that it happened at all. Such tradgedy and sensless destruction. The excuse for war in 2 countries. The pain and suffering of the families affected by this day in 2001.
If you feel like learning facts, reviewing studies and science papers on this day in history, here is one of the many sites that offer lots of factual information. Based on science and peer reviewed papers, the way the science community is meant to be.

No name calling. No fighting. Just sharing of true information based on scientific facts.

nice find Alarmist. alot of proof of demolitions in that 2 hour video (yes I watched it all)
unless that video is severly fake (which I doubt someone would go through all that trouble just to justify their own take on 9/11.) and those who show another plausible explination for all of that. and Which, by the way, if you watch any of the 9/11 footage on veoh or youtube, you can see that none of the video footage of the 9/11 they showed was edited.
In conclusion, the 2 hour video alarmist posted shows alot of plausible reasoning, and proof of the theroy. for those of you who dont want to watch it.
Most of you who know me, know Im not the kind of person to jump to conclusions without enough proof. but even I have a hard time believeing it was anything but a demolition by man made explosives.

Well, Krythos, if someone were to stop and think about it seriously for even just a minute, it becomes obvious that something's just not right about the entire fire-bringing-it-down bit. Seriously. A fire around 3/4 up the building sufficiently heated the -entire- -STEEL- structure to the point of it losing stability? I don't fucking think so. ^^ Now, that said, the building would -not- crumble into itself due to the top 1/4; the top 1/4 would have toppled over.

You say that as if the news corps aren't already bought out by the gov't. :P Ever hear tell of how Fox literally threatened other news stations to follow their stance? I don't recall the specifics, but I seem to recall there being some shit-flinging. Will try to look it up.

Er... I was agreeing with you, actually. Just thought I'd point out the worst of the offenders. :P Even the Canadian news agencies went along with all the other stories. Really, though. It's horrible how the alternate theories don't even make the news unless they're smearing it, considering just how serious the matter is. They're not blaming some other terrorist group, here. They're pointing the finger at the damned government.
I try to take everything I read about with a grain of salt and weigh both sides of an issue, but when one side's making perfect sense, and the other seems to do nothing but insult the credibility of the other and repeat the same theories without substantial proof to the contrary... well, it just becomes ridiculous.
And I apologize. I'm in a rant-y mood, today. :P

Null, I have never believed the government, not even now, on how those towers fell. Im just saying, I usually dont say something like I believe myself that they were demolished, without solid proof, which that 2 hour video clearly gives

I've been pretty skeptical in the past as to which theory to believe, mostly because it seems that these days everyone has an ulterior motive. However, Alarmists video did do a very nice job of presenting the examination of the collapse by professionals in a means that did not place the blame on any group in particular. The only blame it cast (for certain) was on the U.S. Governments inadequate handling of the examination and that the events should be re-examined.
On that note, and not to sound apathetic, the death toll at 9/11 was hardly as big an issue as the psychological effect and the events it """provoked""", AIDS, starvation, even tobacco smoke claim more lives, with greater regularity then any act of terrorism and as such, the entire first world needs to drastically re-assess it's priorities.

What are you talking about Wise? Either your'e hijacking or mentioning something else?
And for everyone here. Like I said, not a thread to start insulting. Present a theory that is sound if you wish, but no insulting or personal attacks.
Popular mechanics is a poor source of information. The Pop Mechanic and Pop Science (which I used to subscribe to) are great magazines to know what researchers are up to, but mostly are more like a PR for the US military. After 4-5 years of subscription, I decided to not continue because of that.
They also did a poor job of debunking, and in an interview with some guy (I think Loose Change rep), they failed to address several issues.
A simple fact that is impossible to deny: It is impossible for any building to fall into it's footprint at (close to) the rate of freefall withouth help (destroying the base, all the support columns). Even if only 1/4 of the columns from the base are not broken, the building will not be able to fall into it's own footprint. There's just too much resistance.
And lets not forget Building 7. Unless we live in a world where steel buildings simply collapse because of fire and a few rubbles, buildings don't collapse like that. If so, we need to evacuate all the buildings in North America in order to make them all safer! lol Otherwise a simple office fire can bring down a building!
