Holiday Meetup Toronto / Ajax

Howdy GTAers,
I just rolled into Toronto yesterday where I'm housesitting with my partner until Christmas when we're going to shift over to Ajax-Pickering. Would folks be interested in having a Toronto meetup, be it at a house, bar, or restaurant? If we're feeling active maybe we could get a game of road hockey going?

If folks would rather have a meetup in the burbs I could probably host a gathering at my folks' place in Ajax if there's enough interest.

If everyone wants to meet between xmas and new years then I'll be down. But I can only spare one day downtown, it's hard to say if I will have any other time, simply because my family wants to hang out with me so much more than MoeB does.

Spending Christmas in Toronto from the 24th to the 27th. 27th is really the only day for me so if it drops then, I can make it.

Ok, I am going to be in downtown Toronto on the 30th... the 29th looked good but then my parents were like: Boom, you're busy!

Even if it has to be another day, I think it's best to do it on a day where you can get the most amount of people out. That said, if the meet-up isn't on the 30th I can't make it.

I'm not going to be the decider, but I am free tonight after 9pm, Wednesday before 7PM or after 10:30PM, and all of Thursday. After Thursday, I'll be back in the Jax, but can still take the go train into the city

For those in the Ajax area or those who are willing to make the trek out, I figured I would extend an invitation to my annual New Years Eve dinner / party for those TNRers who don't already have plans for the evening. Clara and I always cook up a big roast, make a pile of mash potatoes and guests bring the rest of the dishes. Most of the folks are friends of mine from high school (including TNR's very own Wesley Crusher) or undergrad; they're a good group and are welcoming to new folks. There should be plenty of food, a fair bit of drinking and perhaps some kinect and/or board games depending upon soberness. Folks are also welcome to crash at my place. If anyone is interested just reply here or shoot me a pm and I'll send along my address and phone number.
