Alright, so, firstly, I'm gonna start by explaining my current situation for those who I haven't told.
My roommate decided to help a girl out by taking care of her dog because it got booted from home with her and she's staying with a friend. Her friend's mom said no to doggy in house style.
Anyways, the dog's been pissing and shitting everywhere. He pissed in my bed at 4:30 AM this morning when I went to take a piss. Then, I come home from school to find my headset all torn up. As requested, I'm posting pictures of the damage he did to them.

I initially wanted to kill him after this series of unfortunate events, but that's inhuman and he's only 5 months old. But, wouldn't you feel like a victim after a dog violates your stuff and doesn't even look at your other 3 roommates' stuff which is just as easily accessible? I mean, my matress is permanently going to smell like dog piss now because he's not toilet trained...

Wash it with copious amounts of bleach, presumably in the morning when you will be spending the most time away from it, and tie the little fucker up somewhere with easily cleaned floors, usually bathrooms or kitchens... I'm really wondering what quantity of pussy is worth putting up with this pooch for.

He pissed in my bed at 4:30 AM this morning when I went to take a piss, so I punched him in the face. Then, I come home from school to find my headset all torn up. That earned him another punch in the face. I initially wanted to kill him after this series of unfortunate events, but that's inhuman and he's only 5 months old.
I have only one thing to say about the damage to your possessions: Make your roommate responsible for the damage.
As for the situation, I recommend that you find a safe place for the dog, where you have no interaction with it whatsoever. That means, get your roommate to get it out of your house, immediately.
You punched a puppy in the face? What kind of man are you? It's FIVE GODDAMN MONTHS OLD! Puppies do not become 'dogs' until at least a year old, and they don't mature when being treated badly. I don't care if the damn thing shit on your face while you slept! It's obviously not well trained, if at all, and it's in a strange place, so it's scared and nervous and all kinds of shit.
Treating dogs as you did is EXACTLY why they grow up to bite people, and the main reason why they get put down. You should consider yourself lucky if somebody here doesn't call Animal Control on you.
Shame on you.

Well Mike, although I do not have a special place in my heart for pets, I personally think you need some help. If what you said is true, and you actually punched a dog in the face that is still just a puppy, you need a few smacks in the head yourself.
Im a little shocked that you actually posted your abuse to animals on the site. Animal Control may be knocking on your door soon son !

I think the OSPCA confiscating the dog would be more then welcome in this situation. It's easy to talk about treating an animal right when you are both equipped for and happy to take care of the animal, I realize that you don't beat a child just cause someone needed you to take care of it for a while, and it broke something but you can't tell me you wouldn't put it in it's place...

My cat has chewed through 4 sets of ear buds and 3 sets of computer headsets...hence the reason why my office is now closed when I am not in it. Animals are just that...they get bored very easily and will play with anything and unfortunately earphones especially the wires are a lot of fun. Like I said I have learned the hard way....but I got mad at myself not the cat because I should have know better. You can get charged for animal abuse and admitting it on here is down right stupid. Fine post the pictures to show your frustration...trust me I understand I have thrown a headset across the room I was so mad when I found the wires chewed right through but I did nothing to the cat. I recently purchased a G5 mouse and I really don't want them destroyed so it is another reason why I keep my office door closed.

Punching a dog, twice, strikes me as a lecture offense at best. Not to suggest in anyway that it is an appropriate way of dealing with an animal, just to suggest that posting that you punched a dog, twice, seems far more arrogant than stupid. If the dog shows no physical or psychological signs of abuse, what is anyone going to do; tell you not to hit your dog? I think we all understand that much.

Alright, I didn't punch it, I pretty much just gave it a tap on the snout and told it to go lay down. I felt like hitting it, but it wouldn't learn anything on account of it's just a stupid puppy.

The dog did not piss on the bed deliberately. I understand it is frustrating. My cat throws up on my bed and pissed on it the other day after being at the vets. But they do it for a reason. They might stressed, sick, scared, whatever...the don't do it to be vindictive. It's a dog...it doesn't understand. Be angry fine but don't take it out on the dog.

You must treat a pet as you would a baby. Keep everything that they can chew or eat that's not appropriate, away from them.
Get the dog into a location where it cannot harm itself and things you don't want damaged. Sometimes, a pet's cage is the only option, but make sure it's big enough for it.
I know the pet was not your decision, but for who's decision it was, they need to educate themselves more into what it means to have a pet. It's not something you should decide in 5 seconds.
Please treat the dog well, even if I'm not a dog person, they don't deserve to be harmed for being animals that don't understand why us human pests live the way we do. Most of all, find it a place to be withouth supervision with some toys so he's not too bored. Simple idea, harder in execution.
