I loved when a guy, claiming to be NR admin, came in and said he needs more evidence, after Terri Schiavo had a score of [-10/10] I ironically asked him if he has enough evidence, so the guy says something like "Don't question my ways", and I sarcastically reply that he teamed up with terri; the guy gets pissed and threatens to blacklist me, while does nothing, not even warns TERRI SCHIAVO. Unfortunately, I forgot that admin's name. ;)

it was on the CS:S server.. not the TF2 ones, i cant remember the guys name claiming to be a admin but it started like this... [NR] and then his name after.

Hey manofphat on a side note what does it take to become a admin... i know theres been a few occasions now were ive been playing and things have needed to be done with no admin around... just wondering...

why isn't this admin being looked into? I lost my admin and wasn't allowed it back because of a very similar incident where I didn't see him TKing but "it was very obvious" based on his score and because people who were playing were bitching that I wasn't kicking him...

This is pathetic that there's a lack of consistency when dealing with admins...

I guess because the members in the server at the time of this incident aren't throwing hissy fits and are going about it in mature way, the admin can get away with it

the guy claiming to be an admin was something like "[nr]ravenkiller" (without the quotes) but i don't see it on the list. I showed up just before the guy hopped off the server.

Pretty much whenever I'm one the site I check to see who's on the game servers. If there isn't an admin on, I check to see for names I recognize and how long they've been on the server. If your name shows up often enough, you get admin.

first let me say, the dudes name was [NR] galvatron he is NOT an admin on the server, I have been around for a long time, and I have not heard of anyone even on these forums under galvatron. and most of the admins are easily recognised on the server because they never change their name, those who do usually have something in their name that gives them away. (like NR1/2 for example)

You have no proof it was even an actual Admin, other than a Player's notice that somebody claimed to be an Admin, and did nothing to prove that they had any special abilities above and beyond the normal user.

I disagree. I've gotten in hot water before for various reasons, and after an explanation, and usually a very humbling apology, things usually come back around to the positive.

The difference between the way Admins are treated are usually based upon your maturity level when faced with an issue. As we have all discussed, your responses when asked about problems with other Players are usually met with hostility and 'poor responses', perceived or otherwise.

If you feel that everybody else gets treated better, maybe you want to look at why that might be.

Let's put it this way - if I got banned from Admin, and (let's say) `WiseGuy didn't, for doing the same thing, hey - maybe it's because they like him better than me. You know what, maybe that's so, but it's THEIR SERVER! They can do whatever they want.

If you don't like the rules, don't play the game.

well, i have the demo of him as well i think of the guy with [RN] Galvatron. He tried to be an admin to stop teri for t'king people for no reason but somehow teri went on his team and started t'king "[RN]". ROFL!! me and Encore was lol!!!!!

haha TKJ, I dont know what you're referring to but you seem to know my 'history' as an admin... so you'd know I've only had 1 incident 'reported' against me and I'm sorry but my 'poor attitude' was completely justified. The verbal abuse I suffered from the person complaining about my admining was completely unjustified but at no time was that issue addressed (atleast not to the level it would have been for other admins) so at no time should i be expected to apologize for my response to that incident (I would have acted like other admins should, if I was given the same respect other admins receive). If I wasn't treated like I was Guilty until Proven Innocent (on top of the verbal harrassment I suffered) my responses would have been a lot more rash and mature... And I didn't realize becoming an admin had become a popularity contest where you have to be liked by everyone to become an admin, I'm looking for somewhere to play free from 'TKers' and those who are intentionally ruining the fun for others and if an admin can do that (whether they're 'popular') or not should be all that matters... This community has a lot of member who are well liked but as admins CONSISTENTLY break the rules, rules made very aware when they become admins but are given many chances still... I missed some 'tking' and get treated like I've hacked the server... less than a day after the incident, i had to immediately defend myself as to why I accidently missed the 'tks' with WAY MORE emphasis on the minor detail of me not immediately noticing the tking/kicking the player rather than the bigger issue of someone calling an admin every name under the sun because they accidently missed something... Take a step into my shoes, even after I had admitted and apologized over and over for missing the tking, and see how'd respond to being persecuted (and i say persecuted because my actions were in response to severe verbal abuse FROM AN NR MEMBER nonetheless and the emphasis was entirely on my actions and at no time was the treatment I received taken into account)... and sorry boys but when admin responsibilities is based on 'popularity' rather than on the persons ability to follow the strict admin-rules and their ability to govern the server, then ur not properly selecting admins

Who cares about Hillary Clinton? Considering the current democrats wouldn't impeach bush for blatantly violating the constitution just about every time he signed a piece of paper, i see no reason to have any confidence in Hillary, who voted for EVERYTHING Bush wanted, as far as i know. (patriot act, patriot act 2, military commissions act, etc)

On the other hand, Maggie Thatcher is a female leader i could respect. Angela Merkel - i dont know enough about.
