SO HOW BOUT THAT MLSE

So how bout that MLSE, indeed. While I'm pretty happy with the move (Rogers and/or BCE are more accountable than a hedge fund), I can't help but wonder if this is the beginning of the end of the Leafs playing on Hockey Night in Canada on CBC... you gotta think those two companies are eyeing that Saturday night TV spot with swimming pools of drool.

Thoughts?

Tru.dat, it's the only games CBC have of the Leafs anymore, they used to have sporadic games through the week. What's it going to mean for LeafsTV I wonder.

It'll be good for my phone though, hopefully.

With all the profits they were benevolently foregoing throughout the years to give us data hogs unlimited data internet access, they were only able to afford 75% of MLSE.

Nah, that last 25% is owned by Larry Tanenbaum, and he's still the managing entity of the ownership. There's no way in hell he's ever selling that.
