Welcome to our new website! With this website comes many changes on how we operate and how things are done.
Here are some of the major changes:
The website sign-ups are now unrestricted. This means that users no longer have to have 2 days of playing time on the server and be recommended by an administrator
Donations are now done through paid subscriptions (http://www.northernresistance.com/forum/payments.php). When you donate, you get extra services on our website (such as an avatar or signature). Click on the link provided in this item for more information
Most stickies have been updated. Please take the time to read the stickies before posting in a section
We now have an arcade. This is a fun section of the website where you can challenge and compete against other site members. For the first week that the site is open, this will be available for everyone. After the first week, it will be a service only available to Silver and Gold contributors.
I can't import the old forum posts but they will be archived publicly for a little while. Your account on the old site will be disabled once you sign-up for an account and are approved on this site.
Some of the codes that you are used to using in your posts have changed with this site. You can get the list of available codes and how they are used here (http://www.northernresistance.com/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode).
If you come across any weird things happening with the website, please post in the bugs thread in the Website section of the forum.
Once you have confirmed your e-mail address, you still need to wait until we grab your information from our old site and assign you your privileges. If you had access to one of our special sections on old site and you don't have them anymore (once you've been activated) please PM me.
Please don't send me a bunch of messages on MSN or IRC about things that are wrong or if your account isn't activated. I have a life outside this website believe it or not. I'll get to it when I get to it. That being said, if you think something is seriously wrong and can't access your account on here or on the other site, send me an e-mail: manofphat@northernresistance.com
