Dystopia PUG

Hey, Wise and I are going to play Dystopia tomorrow night. It's one of the most professional looking Mods out there. It's won numerous awards and is a lot of fun. The game just left Beta so it's pretty solid. It's like tribes, but more of a death match feel, with all sorts of different classes, weapons and skills.

Sooo...this game is pretty complicated I'd say...more like unreal tournament than anything else, people running in circles with crazy weapons

I get so frustrated by this game, but mostly because i just can't deal with the invisible people

ALWAYS get thermal implant and make a habit of using F1. I rocked so many lights using my heavy and thermal vision (which is unheard of). On two seperate occasions i sniped a light attacking me with a sword using the heavy ion cannon while they were slashing me and running around.

... after they died they were like "...wtf? i should have owned you"

Haha, I would run past the 3-4 other guys just to go after the guy that said "Knight Templar" above his head...hahaha

Most of my game play is sitting around waiting to spawn after I suicide rush with the katana

Ok, so I got the mod and getting kills is easy enough but hacking is confusing the hell out of me, not the interface, just how to do it with respect to the map objectives, tutorial is crap in that respect.

yeah i played this game a few months ago...the hacking aspect is pretty cool...very much like Tron 2.0 and stuff, I just remember the animations being kinda fucked...if there good now i'll dl it...for some reason it just really put me of last time

actually i find the graphics in the game to be top notch, i cant complain and it isnt an fps whore either which is sweet... for hacking info, read through the wikipedia entry, it explains shit like white squares are jump squares and grey squares represent like a walking path, so if theres grey squares going up a wall, you can walk up those squares... thats a shitty summary but read the wiki post and it'll explain a lot more
