OMG the game is AWESOME but my compy is taking a beatting well my graphics is. 7800gt everything is low and resolution is turned right down. you also need at least 2gb of ram for this beast

I just go my speciall edition today. This game is so sweet. Been playing alot of instant action multiplayer. I also really like the smaller PS struggle maps.

Reason why its availability is so high is because not many people can afford to buy computers that support the game. I knew there would be plenty of copies when I went to buy it for this reason. Also, some people just don't have the balls to handle such a sick game.

It also has to do with the fact that it was just released yesterday without the heavy duty marketing a console game receives.

The futureshop I go to never sells out of games. I think the only time it came close was when Doom3 came. What a piece of shit that game was.

Maybe at the highest of settings that could be an issue, but I can run it fine on all low, though I leave physics on high. The only trouble I've encountered on the SP end of it was the odd freeze-up. Usually snapped out've it after 2-3 seconds, but would sometimes require a reboot.

And those fucking morons at EA don't seem to be willing to do anything to help me w/ this god damned server authentication problem. I -still- can't log into a MP server, and the cock sucker that's supposedly trying to help seems to share the intelligence of a CSS bot. ... granted, I'm starting to believe it actually -is- a bot. *sigh*

The biggest reason they say "top machines" can't run it is because alot of people consider dual video cards top machines. But the recent beta driver from Nvidia improved SLI, and the hotfix from ATI improved 2900/3800 crossfire performance.
As well a patch being released withing two weeks will improve performance across all multi GPU setups.

I remember hearing "omg my dual 8800 ultra setup sucks at crysis OMFG this game sucks" SOOO much in the beta. First off only a retard would pay for two 8800 ultra, or even one. Secondly your SLi is not even running douche.

All I know is that on my new and cheap 8800gt I can run 1680x1050 all high settings. But I tweak my game to the maxium where I drop ugly settings to medium, and boost up sexy things like sunshafts (via config files).

To play muliplayer do you have to use the gamespy comrade? Or can I uninstall it and still find a list of servers in-game?

You can find servers in-game, so I don't believe it's actually necessary. Though, you do need a gamespy ID.

Plus you can't base the looks of the game off multiplayer because in all servers except for dx10 servers everything is stunted in order to run good on anyone's computer. (ie. physics are off)

look at the maps, the play style is gona be very similar those massive veichle bf maps
and gun fights can be ruined by a player just jumping or sprinting away to regain health
and im basing the looks off of the demo, and its funny how there are stunted, physics off servers

I'd have sex w/ the Falcon NW web designer in a second but I just peiced together a fragbox with similar specs to the system I'm working on and

Just played Crysis today and it was pretty good. The demo was over before I knew it, which sucked. Figured with all the complaints about people being able to run the game I toggled everything to medium and she ran without a problem or hesitation. Was pretty cool.
