So I've been working hard on bringing a few custom maps up to speed with the DM server (adding spawn points and checking BOT compatibility) and I have it down so that I can accomplish this is under 1 hour per map. So if you have a map suggestion post it here, if mano agrees to upload it I'll try to have it running smooth asap :)

Um...I suggest standard deathmatch maps like dust2, contra, and cbble...not small, gay maps like italy, office, etc. With those maps, you kill someone and someone else turns the corner right behind you and shoots you in the back.

I'll search FPSBanana and see if I can find some other good dm_ maps

you could try looking up css_galeria, an awesome map i played once before but it was really huge so we didnt get it for the regular servers.

I see that Surf DeathMatch is pretty popular. Simple maps like surf_rebelresistance work.

agreed, surf is fun in it's own respect; comes in handy for trick jumping and air control, but it doesn't belong on the NR DM (last i checked)

post a link to any map you want up, try not to spam suggestions, and like i said, assuming mano agrees to upload, as i don't have FTP access (plz mano... :) ) il make up the spawn points and ensure it runs.

EDIT: the FTP thing is a joke btw :)

that ones for 1.6, not source, I'll look into some rats maps and what not for you guys and send spawn files off to Winston once I get thru with them, but in the mean time I have alot to worry about with physics and midterm projects.
