The Leafs can play well but when they do, they always have this incredibly stupid screw up at random points in the game that ruin their momentum, or just give the game away. Their defensemen (WOZNIEWSKI OR HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT) usually make these stupid plays such as being overly agressive in the offensive zone and thus give up a breakaway or take a stupid penalty. Or just fail miserably like McCabe and either score for the other team, or assist the other team in some way... and then say "What can you do?"

The "good" leafs team plays pretty damn well. They actually attempt to block shooting and passing lanes and give their goalies an easier time. The good leafs team either has McCabe deciding not to be a lazy dumbshit or is simply not playing. The bad leafs team just skates around aimlessly and take moronic penalties every 30 seconds and look like they don't give a shit. McCabe and Wozniewski is usually on the roster when the bad team is playing.

Paul Maurice also has this wierd obsession of playing Bates Battaglia. Seriously, stop playing him, he's god damn terrible.

I find when the leafs hit the end of the season/playoffs they play extra dirty, which makes them really entertaining to watch, but usually results in them losing the game.

who saw that Kings miracle come back? Down 4-0 with 7 min left in the 3rd and they score 5 goals in 5 minutes.

Worth watching regardless of what team you like.
