As someone who goes and sees almost every movie in the theater I would highly recomend this movie. So if your planing to go and see any movie at the moment I would go and see this one, and makes sure you leave early (or know someone at the theater that can get you in) because so far at Silvercity (Big theater in Ottawa) it has sold out every time and the lines have been crazy for it.

On a side note so far I have seen this movie twice and am considering going to see it for a thrid time. So that there should answer your question as to how good it is, or at least to how much I have enjoyed it.

i found the end much like gladiator. when the wife and kid were standing in the wheatfield. had gladiator written all over it.

i don't think it was better then gladiator but man it was comparable.

300 rox im going to have to see it 2ice in the theatre... dont be dumb... when it comes to fighting... it blows gladiator out of the water!

300 = gladiator with less love garbage and 3 times the fighting blood n guts!!! wicked!

ps > the only humours part i foud was that the king of sparta had a scottish accent lol ... but honestly its so cool it wont even phase you...

i downloaded the comic 300, and there is a thingy in this months wired about it that says frank miller was inspired when he saw the original movie when he was a kid! cool eh!

I saw it with my girlfriend, she hated it with a passion. I, however, liked it and wouldn't mind seeing it again!

A movie that doesn't try to have stupid jokes in it. It's about man's strenght (however fake) and is sweet!

yeah cause when we watch movies we dont pay attention to anything anyone says... [/sarcasm] if you want real plot watch gladiator, if all you want to see is extremely well done fight scenes with cheesy punch lines watch 300

and not to say it was a bad movie its just being really overhyped at the moment, it was definitely worthwhile going to see
