Looks pretty damned similar at lower gfx settings. Hell, I run it at 1440x900 (screen's max res), and it sometimes drops to 10-20fps, but rarely. And... I own. Hard. Granted, I get the odd map where teammates decide they want to throw themselves in front've me, or steal my tanks as I try to repair, but it's thankfully rare.

Christ, though. When it rains, it pours. If I get a bad start, I'm usually quite fucked, because it just continues to spiral downwards. Idiots'll try to run in front've your tank/truck in order to get in... *sigh* I've even gotten auto-banned from some servers because 4 idiots would try to get into a truck w/ two seats. Morons... I think I'm at 4-5 servers that I'm banned from, now. Supposedly temp bans are permanent.

Hating Crytek more and more as the days go by... the first release has been such a huge bomb for me, so far. Bugs that you'd expect in -ALPHA- testing, for fuck sake. (AA tank that shoots itself, anyone?) Glitches galore. (Survived 3 nukes while in a tank, once. Sadly, the tank didn't survive.) And laggy people going unchecked. (I just -LOVE- when a truck turns one way, spikes back, and turns towards you on the 2nd go.)

Did I mention there's never an admin to be found? Ever. Bunch've hackers running rampant on the server, abusing this lovely little permanent invisibility/invincibility glitch wherein they perpetually phase in and out of view so damned fast that they never actually appear on-screen. The only way to even tell when they're on is when you suddenly start taking damage from out've thin air.

God DAMNIT, I need a punching bag, or something.

I'd get my money back, but I was stupid enough to go for the online purchase. Never fuckin' doing that again, I can tell you. *sigh*

I was talking about Crysis. o.O And I'm sure you're right about that Gooch, but still. Such major bugs simply shouldn't be allowed to remain in a game that's being released.

To reply to Sharp's comment... well, the single-player, although very enjoyable, isn't why I bought the game at all. It's all about the multiplayer. ;[

UT3 is awesome aslong as they keep the weapon damages as they are, because if i gotta start shooting 3 shots of flak at someone to kill them without any armor i'll have to go crazy.
Its good the way it is now since its somewhat like Classic UT damages....when the game was good

ok first for those of you wanting requirements, I found them, and found my comp is more then compatible
(cept my cpu which is only a 2.33 instead of a 2.4 dual core for recommended)

It would be awsome if you guys got a ut3 server up and running, every other one i try to join is far too laggy to plan at residence (at mcmaster) and seeing as how i get under 10 ping with your tf2 servers, i hope for the best with this. . . it could actually make unreal 3 worth it during school :)
