..figured I should probably say a lil' hello :)

(gamer first)
Hi, my name is rk, but sadly this forum doesn't allow for 2-letter names, so I expanded to my old gaming name from like 8 years ago (gg 13-yr-old imagination). I've played CS since, uhh, I think the final beta because 1.0 was my first patch, but never competitively because I was too busy with my TFC team that I eventually lead for a couple years. Only started playing Source when some friends in the US formed a team, and eventually I got tired of pinging like shit on their servers so I did a server-search and here I am :) I absolutely *love* TF2 (probably cuz of my TFC days), so NR was the perfect fit. I also work for a eSports website, www.GotFrag.com, if anyone's intereted in the professional gaming scene.

(aaand real life)
My name is Everett Wells, and I'm a 3rd year at U of T (St. George), working on an English/History double major (which means I'm either gonna be a teacher, or I'm wasting my money.. well, parents money, lol). I'm also a stunningly good looking individual who is looking forward to meeting all your gfs at the LAN ;) *EDIT* I'm also a bit of a Dave Matthews Band junky, hence the avatar :)

Ouch, I try to say hello and I get out-ed.. lol :)

Yep, I work for GF, used to do CS 1.6 coverage for CEVO/CAL/LANs etc, but got sick and tired of the bs with professional teams so now I just edit news articles for them and www.FPSLabs.com, their hardware site. Never rose high enough on the ladder to get flown to events, though *sigh*

That depends - if they are between the ages of 14 and 16, and are proven to NOT be of 'previously chaste character', they're fair game. (Welcome to Grade 12 Canadian Law) Unfortunately, unless it's common knowledge, you're also not permitted to bring somebody's sexual history into the courtroom... So, it's a Catch 22.

pretty sure its like 14 is NOT statutory if YOU are under 18. Once you're over 18 years old, 18 is the lower limit.

Just so you all know, the age of consent is currently at 14 years old. There is talks of trying to move this to age 16, but for now it stands at 14.

Every person who, for a sexual purpose, invites, counsels or incites a person under the age of fourteen years to touch, directly or indirectly, with a part of the body or with an object, the body of any person, including the body of the person who so invites, counsels or incites and the body of the person under the age of fourteen years, is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.

Keep this in mind.... if you are using your computer and the internet to facilitate the commission of an offense - sex with someone between the age of 14 to 18, there are a few laws that make this a chargable offense, depending on some variables.... the punishment:

Every person who commits an offence under subsection (1) is guilty of

(a) an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than ten years; or

(b) an offence punishable on summary conviction and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding eighteen months.
