Hey guys, here are the details of my car along with the attached pictures.

My car is a silver 1999 Acura 1.6 EL Premium Edition
5 speed manual tranny
Approx. 231,000kms (still runs great), oil changed every 5000kms
New rotors and pads installed 1 month ago
Timing belt changed at approx. 190,000kms
Transmission fluid and Radiator fluid changed/flushed at 215,000kms
Black leather interior (Leather - seats have seam rips near the bottom)
Heated seats, A/C(needs to be recharged), P/S
JUN front lip
Performance high flow exhaust and 2.25" piping (cat-back)
Strut bar
Adjustable Coilover sleeves (w/ wrenches)
5 spoke Acura Premium rims (plus spare tire)
In car entertainment - Panasonic deck, 2 amps, 2 10" JL Audio subs, Sony speakers in car
Compustar 2-way pager alarm (w/ remote starter)

A price I would be willing to sell it is $6000 OBO (AS IS). Will look at ALL reasonable offers.

I find the car a little over priced for 231,000kms. AND it's a 1.6L.

umm FYI most 1.6EL's r still selling for $8000+ for a decent one. this guy's car appears to be mint. he just wants it gone so he's under pricing it.

i paid $8,500+ taxes for my 1.6EL @ 155k on the engine. $6000 is perfectly in the realm of the worth of the car.

6k sounds decent, it's an Acura and as long as it's not rusted out, it should be good for another 200k km

exactly! 6k is under priced for the most part. it's hard as hell to find an EL at that price. (p.s. EL's r great economic cars for the most part and fill for about $30 on todays prices)

there is no rust from the looks of it. but if there is it's easilly fixable for $12.50 and a days labor (i had to fix a little bit of rust starting in my doors / under the bug deflector on my hood). cost $12.50 for some rust proofing silver paint that was a virtual match to the car, a grinding bit and some rust remover. a day later it was fixed.

p.s. acura's will start in as cold as it gets around canada. the engines will for the most part go for ATLEAST 500,000km and if properly taken care of will go much farther.

imo. the 1.6EL is a great daily driver for the price. havent had a problem with mine and they've never had a recall (in canada atleast.) the US had a passenger side airbag recall for i think the '97 OR '98 year 1.6EL's

faults with MY car: a little bit of rust, and in america there was a recall. there r no problems that i can see with the car being sold for $6,000
