That reminds me of Path Of Neo, frikken sickest game ever, i totally loved it... but it had some wild bugs and the game freezes while loading and resets itslef and shit... and there was litterally no support.

They released one patch and it only increased the percentage of people that had an unplayable game. REEALLY fun game though, the combo fighting was sick

I am one lucky guy I guess. This game ran without a single error on my PC, and much much smoother than expected. Haven't really played it much as Crysis and TF2 are uber fun.

Still though - it's their choice. You do realize that development costs, server bandwith, and continuing support for MMORPGs cost, right? :) WoW is a well-done game and it was executed almost flawlessly imo.

DS is right, WoW's infrastructure and support costs were equal to about 33% of their income last year. They still made a crapton of money though.

My friend runs gears for pc maxed out and I have to say it's alot more impressive that 360. Massive rez ftw. The controls are nice too, keyboard and mouse makes baby jesus happy, though they tried to add recoil to balance mouse aiming (lolol). Though my friends never complained about any tech problems so take this as you will :).
