Do you guys like the one we had before or the setting I just turned on?
The nice thing about the one we had before is that it was more accurate but the newer ones are easier to read. Thoughts?

this one, although will it always post the time difference? or after a certain number of days will it post the date it was posted?

i don't like it one bit.....i'd much rather have Today, Yesterday and anything older than that has a date stamp....plus i like the time to be displayed as well. I dunno, i guess i like precision.

What's wrong with 7 months old threads..?
Some of us (ie me) weren't even on the forums 7 months ago, and if it is an interesting topic, why the hell not revive it?

I'd prefer precision. I don't know about other people, but I don't have issues reading a date and the time.

yup no problems reading the post dates, I dont care either way, I think that both ways have their merits.

Umm - why can't you have both? A verbose description, such as "Posted on Monday, January 1, 2007 at 1:00 a.m. (15 Days Ago)" might fill everybody's requests.

If you look at the top of your post, instead of saying the date and time when you posted, it now tells you how long ago you posted.

I thought the forum always did that.

before it gave a definate time, now also on the "new posts" section it tells you how long ago you last checked.

I think new one is winner. It involves less thinking on my part.
