Alrighty, my name is Morgan Gill and I've lived in toronto all of my life. I'm 19 years old and I will be attending George brown college starting on January 7th, 2008. As for employment, I was a cashier/sales guy... but the company i worked for (Compusmart) liquidated a few months ago (good memories of that place). So i had a largely temporary job working in a warehouse recently, but I'd like to get in some actual free time before my term starts (they were only operating till mid December anyway). So i guess now, I try to spend as much time amongst friends as i can before before i lose that freedom never to get it back... until mid April when my term ends for the "summer."
(I had been using the northern resistance servers for a while before i figured that i should make an attempt at signing up)

I must apologize to Fabulous D, yes, unfortunately Compusmart was not known for it's quality... it was a rather small island with limited resources that got submerged (and drowned) in the vast ocean of the computer/electronics market. But I found it had a much more welcoming environment than any of the major electronics outlets (especially Future Shop, they have such a strict margin policy shrouding their sales guys that those poor fellows are almost forced to try and sell you anything). Although this may not be very accurate for every Compusmart outlet, I worked at the "Yonge and Richmond" location (not the one that was formerly in the Eaton center) and almost never saw any employees from the other locations.
Hmm... speaking of Compusmart "drowning," one of my former co-workers (and a good friend... when he's sober) is now, coincidentally enough, a grave digger!
As for programs at George Brown, I'm in the Practical Nursing program.
(if you're wondering, yes I am a guy)
My rationale is; I wanted a job that involved helping people and that was not shackled to or behind a desk.
