Because snow doesn't grow, it falls from the sky. It's water vapor condensed and frozen, then the weight of it makes it come to earth.
Grass is, well grass, sun shine is what we have here all the time, and leafs are often on TV already, losing all their games vs. the Sens! :P
Look at the lovely snow drifting through your browser.. who has to shovel that shit? :)

I have been on the site for 5 mins and only just noticed it now :)...pretty cool. I guess you just become accustomed to it when it is all around you.

I did a quick search for javascript snow effects. Theres a ton of hits and a hundred different scripts out there, who knew there was such demand for snow...:))

I've added an option to disable the snow in your user profile.
If you don't want it on then login, go to your User CP, click on edit profile and scroll all the way to the bottom and select the "Disable" radio button
