LANapalooza III, CS 1.6, Source, UT2K4, Q4, DOTA and more, July 6th - 8th, many CASH prizes to be had, located in the Aurora Community Center just north of Toronto. Event is a WCG regional qualifier. Reduced door fee, see www.zeropingevents.com for details.
Can we please go to this one!
The event is located in Aurora, only 30 minutes north of Toronto. There is a local hotel within a few minutes walk of the location for those that actually need a bed. Doors open at 12pm (lunchtime) Friday July 6th and we kick you all out at 3pm Sunday July 8th making for over 50 hours of LAN gaming ($1/hour to have your rig connected to our Foundry/Riverstone-powered network). This time we've got all out to ensure that this LAN makes with the bits in style. There is a Foundry FESX424 core all-gigabit switch which will be configured with multiple bonded gigabit connections to a pair of Riverstone 8600 switches (each with as many ports as I can fit). Unfortunately only the first 100 gamers will be able to take advantage of our carrier-class network eqiupemnt (the rest will be using the standard 24port/w gigabit uplink switches we use).
Teams of 5 or more who fully prepay their entrance (BEFORE June 6th) will have the ability to get seats with access to the carrier-class network gear assuring you premium network performance. Be sure to bring a long network cable with you! Payments can be made in advance by paypal or in person at The Tech Zone in Aurora.
