Just wondering if any of you have encountered it? i have it at school and it blocks steam, do any of you know how to get past it???

Yeah Georgian has it, and it can be worked around. I am unsure how the process works (or if it still works anymore).

There is a key combination that you need to hit on startup. It'll ask for a password.
The password is generated from a master password that the administrator would have set and a new one gets generated everyday from a date code.

Try safe mode? lol

They had some blocking shit in college (In the dorms) when I went.

We just made a huge fuss about paying for internet and all that, then had signatures from everyone in the residence and they caved and took it off.

I feel sorry for the kids there now....we all left and they put it back up.


But I have heard about it blocking a certain port or some shit and you just need to bypass it.

it will also re-image the harddrive that the OS is installed on on every restart. I went around installing this all last term on SJU computers, in libraries etc.

Lets say you had the password somehow... then u could activate it with key combination like winston said, u can then access the program, thaw the Disk, restart, instal Steam and any upgrades, then re-freeze the disk and restart.

Divise a program that throws the dictionary at the password box.

You'd be looking at a long hack but if you have a long break or class you might get lucky.
