Ok so check it out check it out check it out ....
A bunch of you have expressed an interest in going out for sushi and bubble tea and getting smashed ... ok so maybe I added that last part in, but I'm sure none of you would disagree ...
I'm told this coming weekend is the tentative time frame (wow I sound like a nerd) for this to happen, so I wanted to see who's in, and what day's best for them ... your options are
Friday Feb 29th
Saturday March 1st
Sunday March 2nd
And if anyone knows of a good sushi place, throw out suggestions!

Ok - so we decided that we're going rain or shine Friday, March 7th, 2008. If you can make it ... let us know ... if you can't ... there's always next time! We still need to decide on a place ...

wtf is bubble tea?
Cleavage Monkey
February 26th, 2008, 05:08 AM
Yeah we can pop out for afternoon sushi during the LAN too for those of us who cannot make it due to location issues and previous engagements.
Bubble tea is tea with milk and little tapioca balls. Sounds pretty gross if you ask me but then again I have never tried it. Who knows it might be yummy.

I love bubble tea! I call the Tapioca Frog Eggs though :P or Tadpoles.. just without the tails. :)
But it's sooo good :)
Aji Sai on Danforth is pretty good. There are a few other sushi places on Danforth that are pretty good. If you are looking for something in that area, let me know and I'll find out some more good sushi places? There are plenty of greek restaurants for those who want to come out, but chose not to parttake in sushi ;)

If you get around to the Much Music building where ever that is, check out this phenominal Japanese restaurant E Mu Te(My translation may be off as i goggled it and coulnd't find the name) or something its completely authentic. Best sushi i've had in m life.

Ematei on St. patrick Street just north of queen.
Its good, not Sushi Marche or Cafe Michi good but the black cod in miso is well done.
You'll soon discover Onawire the food snob.

I have wayyy too many papers to do. This sucks.
Pro tip: if it's your first time with bubble tea, order a small. Seriously. It's like eating a second meal - so filling, yet so good!

sure, if you want to get technical lol. and if you do, it's not necessarily milk tea, since you can get bbt with non-milk-tea drinks. i refer to bbt as the entire class of drinks. :P

=.= bubbletea at its roots is milk tea plus sago balls (no, not saggy balls). everything else (flavors and all) are a spinoff of the original zhen zhu nai cha :)

I don't know of any places in T.O since I'm not there too often. Good place in Burlington called Saga Sushi, all you can eat style.
St. Catharines has a couple good places too, but thats a little far for most of you :)
My wife and I love sushi, we're actually having friends over tonight for homemade sushi.

Fujiyama Sushi on Baldwin was the name of the place I was thinking of. Its kind of small though so depending on how many people are coming we may need someplace bigger.

So from the looks of it, there will be a very small crowd going on the 7th ... does anyone know if the lan is still going down on the 8th? cause if that's the case, maybe we should just wait a day to accomodate more ppl?
and if you guys dont like sushi, whats the alternative? It'd be ironic if Kannon ate Chicken :\
