Steam is crapping out

Played all night OK, then quit for a bit, came back in, and keep getting booted after about 2 minutes with a ticket error.
Saw lots of others getting booted too. Looked like only people recently joining the game had the issue, if you had been in a while it was OK.

Steam friends list is down too.
Guess it's a sign to goto bed.

I'm getting the same shit. After about a minute or so I get kicked for invalid Steam Ticket ID or something like that.

EDIT : Just tried a non-tNR server (I know, I know) and the same thing happened.

yeha honestly i havent played the game in months and the one day i decide to play steam servers are down for maintenence.

new update F'd servers in the A, reset and it should be ok

Try restarting Steam. If that doesn't work, reboot.

I had the same thing yesterday and restarting Steam fixed it for me.

Restarting steam didn't help me. I haven't tried today, but I assume the issue is fixed by now.

It's fixed, but I too found that restarting steam did nothing.

when this happened to me in the past, I've deleted that client registry blob file or whatever and then it worked.

Probably Steam servers were out for maintenance or something.
