ive never played saints row but i remember a trailer that looked dumb where ur some pimp and all that crap, and there is no story line
in gta they base the story lines around what backround the character is
in liberty city u join the italian mob first
in san andreas ur black and in a black ghetto

Saint's Row story line - (Roughy from what I remember)

You (Custom character) mind your own buisness when a gang hit goes down and you witness it, and just as it ends they spot you and go by the rule (No Witnesses) just before it all goes down and you get blown away the "Saints" blow the guy away and save your ass, then offer for you to join thier ranks and "Take back the row"

What Gooch said makes sense, if you have a customizable character, it's hard to make a storyline...for instance, if you decided, I'm going to make a Black Gangster character, and then in the storyline you were the head of the Italian Mafia, that wouldn't really make sense, now, would it?

That being said, if you are a Russian character and the gang is Russian, it makes a little more sense...

Thank you vengence for bringing this topic back on track, now just hopfully they can keep this one exclusive to PS3 for at least a couple of years so that I don't keep feeling like I wasted a pile of my money because as of right now there next to no good games out fo the concole. At least in October I have something to look forward to :D

graphics look like hardcore goodness for a GTA, definitely gonna be a must get (although prolly not 'must buy').

You'll have to wait 6 months, like any other GTA games in the past. They can't not release it for xbox anymore.
