So i dunno why but this idea poped into my head, im not sure if its possible tho. Thought maybe we could have a map of canada/usa where we could zoom in, click on our town, and put in our name/whatever to let people know where were from. And then you could click on a city and see a list of people who play from there. It may make it easyer for future lans too, if im driving and the route im goin to take passes threw a town that someone else is in id be happy to pick them up.

I remember seeing a community site like that where people would post where they live using an interactive map, and the map would be specific to what people were posting to. So it would be an NR page just for the people who want to post for where they live.

On the Gibsrus hlstatsx server overview page you see a google map with pinpoints to every players location... is this part of hlstatsx?

Yes it is. We had it on a long time ago. I forget now why we turned it off. Maybe I'll enable it again

Ok basically if this turned on I can see near exact addresses of where ppl live? Thats kinda creepy, I don't know about everyone else but I have no problem randoms on the stat page know what city I'm in even what general area of it, but near street address is kinda freaky.

I just put in the city information (Mississauga) and it just chose a random location within the city. No exact location for me ;)
