Hacker-servers Idea

I know some servers they are like Hacker Servers, where everyone blatently hacks. Like a server where the hackers go. Maybe we could just get somone to go to those servers, status the console then just copy and paste everyones a id. It mite help keep hackers out of the server.

I know such servers existed in cs 1.6, i dont know about source though.

To simply copy and paste everyone from a server into a ban on our server would be both labour intensive and potentially unfair. To just assume everyone on a server is hacking and to ban them based on their steam ID is a little nuts.

We have a few measures in place to help reduce the chances of hax used on our servers, although its impossible to catch everyone. I think most will agree that keeping an eye on suspected hackers and submitting the information works well.

but, on hacker servers, everyone hacks. Like the server will be called like Clan 1337 Hax- HACKING SERVER . No on who doesnt hack would go on such a server.

LOL. Personally I have never seen anyone or any clan / server call their server a hacking server, for hackers. Strange concept. But yea, too labour intensive.

I thought it would be cool to run a hacking server, so that you could go on and use some ridiculous hacks. With no hax on it would be a sweet challenge.

While it would be fun, I don't think it would be practical, so i never proposed it.

Let's see if I can come up with a good analogy for why this is a terrible idea (no offense)
Let's say one day you were going to meet a friend, but that friend worked at a jazz-cafe, so, while waiting for them to get off their shift you sat down for a second and maybe had a cup of coffee, not being to particular to the music, just waiting for a friend. While drinking your coffee you were recorded on the security camera of this, "jazz-cafe". Then, later, after leaving with your friend you decide to go to say, Wal-Mart, the only issue is that this particular Wal-Mart is run by the Nazi's and as everyone knows Nazi's hate jazz. So, because you were recorded being in a place surrounded by jazz, the Natzi's execute you upon trying to enter this Wal-Mart for liking jazz, even though you really don't like jazz. See what I'm saying?

The fact that the server would be hack only would lead me to think that the people shouldn't be penalized for playing on that server with hacks. They probably just want to try out hacks for once in their life and then delete it and go back to playing. I mean.. if they really wanted to hack on pubs I doubt they'd be on the 'hacks only' server. That server being there is a good thing, keeps those who want to hack with those who want to hack.

Look for any server thats not VAC.

to be fair though, I imagine some people just go to hacking servers for the hell of it, then turn off their hacks for play with regular people. . .

maybe I'm being a little naive, but I'm sure its better to give those people the benefit of the doubt than just saying "You play in a hacker server, you must hack 24-7"

this is in "server general & settings"... we dont have many problems in this area to be have suggestions for... wtf do u expect? 5billion server problems like most the other servers for CSS? nope sorry to disappoint we got a number of class acts going on here!
