How do you do them? i was going to start one but i couldn't find any options other than the fact i got to specify that there would be one and it would have 3 options...

... i was afraid to hit submit with the hope that it would let me specify them after, because of the chance that it wouldn't create one and the thread would be useless

so whats the deal? can someone give me a rundown tutorial? or do you simply need to donate for a package to get poll rights?

When you start a thread scroll down and check Yes, post a poll with this thread
and add how many options you want.

You can also add a poll to your thread during the regular edit period I believe.

Polls won't be available in certain sections such as server and website. In these sections, polls can only be created by super moderators to keep decision making polls official.

When you check off "Yes, post a poll with this thread" after you submit your thread, you'll be redirected to a page asking you for the poll options. Why didn't you just try it when you made this thread?

Oh yeah, something else I forgot to mention. Some of you may notice that you had this come up as a thread with a new post and then you got here and there was nothing new. That's because when someone casts a vote, it gets marked as a new post.

Well they are easy enough to make on forums that allow them. I was confuzzled to heck before I found out that it is enabled only on some of them.
