if you have a valid cdkey, you can download a copy and install it using your own valid key.
Whether you get a physical CD or download, you'll need to make sure you get a matching version. Home comes in both OEM and retail. If your copy came with a PC, it's most likely OEM, so you'll need an OEM version CD, or it will reject the key.
