Some guy hacking the servers?

Someone keeps coming in to the servers and setting the limit for unbalanced teams to 0, which causes the server to start adding an infinite number of bots in an attempt to balance the teams, which causes the server crash. He did it to #1 and #3 just a few minutes ago.

If you see the guy join, go to console and type "status" (without the quotes).
this will give you a list of players with their steam_id. Take a screenshot with F5 and post it here. Could be helpful to ban the culprit if we find who it is. Keep in mind I'm not an admin, just suggesting some steps that could be taken...

Not sure if someone actually joins and does that, but this also happened on #2. #1 and #3 seem to be down. #2 just restarts after this happens, this occurred twice on #2 so far.

There is a bug where anyone can join a server type a console command and it forces the server to crash. This is what the guy that discovered it said I've removed the command.

"In TF2, on any server, type "removed" in console.

This causes the server to run a stress test, randomly spawning bots, barrels, and pylons endlessly until the server can't handle any more and crashes itself. You don't need admin access to run this command."


EDIT: There are some reports that http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=70654 fixes the problem.

Hey guys, you don't really know me, but I'm trying to get a hold of Manofphat because of a High Priority exploit that causes a server Crash.


Someone already mentioned on the General forum about people coming into the server and running a command that adds bots and crashes the server, this is the issue.


Go to this link and install this plugin and it should be ok, I just installed it on my servers and so far so good. But all day my servers were crashing because people were coming in and using the command.
