I had this weird problem where i could only press two or three keys at once, and when i wanted to turn i had to stop moving turn, and move forward again. This was at first happening in Empires, but then it started happening in CSS

This made me angry, so i reinstalled my logitech drivers, which had no effect, then i reinstalled Empires, and that fixed the problem. I thought i would do the same for CS, so i uninstalled the whole thing and then reinstalled, waited an hour to download (i'm still waiting for CSS actually, i mistakenly paused it). The problem now happens in Empires again, and it happens to a lesser degree in HL2.

Has anyone else had this problem? My batteries are fresh, the wireless receptor is right next to both units and the driver is up to date. This only happens when i'm playing a game, but it's worked for over a year with the same set-up, so I don't know what's going wrong now.

Sometimes i think copy (ctrl + c) doesn't work, but then i wonder if i copied something in the first place. That's been happening for a while

Try using a generic two-button PS/2 mouse to help determine if the issue is specific to wireless input.

Try it on another system in an entirely different place (take it to a friend's place or use it on a laptop).

If it still wiggs out, e-mail Logitech for an RMA.

Wireless and gaming never go together. The keyboard batteries won't just stop working they will fade and your performance will go down in the process.

The thing is, wireless and gaming did go together for the past year, I only started having these problems recently. I've replaced the batteries over and over.

Thanks Mano, as soon as i find my usb to PS/2 connector I'll try that option, and I'll look for a normal PS/2 mouse as well.

I had a Logitech Mx500 wireless set. It worked fine for three months worth of punishment, but then performance went to shit. the receiver had to be placed less than 1 foot away from the devices, and re-connected with the connect button every few minutes.

do you at least have a corded keyboard to swap out from another pc/borrow from Wise? :P

Wise lives in Oshawa, so that's out of the question.

Maybe I'll trade this keyboard set-up to my mom or something, because it works perfectly for normal stuff. Or, maybe I just need to reformat, or upgrade the whole mess, because the badness only happens in high stress environments.

I think my brother has it, or it's sitting at home lonely. My old mouse is there too, but that keyboard is SOOO ugly. This system works so well, except for this stupid problem.

I have that issue, only I'm pretty sure it's because I use an ASROCK mobo, it beeps when I press like, more then 4 keys at once and wont take input from any after the 3rd. Wich isn't usually an issue, and now, I'm kinda wondering if this really is the same issue, because, I know the source of mine... idk, do any firmware updates recently?
