Hi, I felt that my presence must further be known so I'll post here :))

This be LeChuck (aka no-ca$h, Gonoherpasyphilaids) your friendly ghost-pirate medic/demo/soldier/heavy :p

My real name is Bryan, I work as a Quality Assurance Functionality Tester (or a videogame tester if you wanna be less specific ;) ) and I currently reside in an apartment in downtown Montreal. I only play TF2 right now but I am for sure going to buy Fallout 3 when it comes out and tear that shit up online, but 'till then it's TF2 for me :)

I also enjoy drinking en masse and I smoke more spliffs than Hendrix dealt out riffs :rolleyes: I'm usually pretty blazed when playing :lol: oh and I play some hockey and also wreak havoc upon this franglophonique city as much as possible. Usually if I'm not at home playing TF2 I'm either at work, drinking in a parc, at a local punk show or losing my memory at some sketchy bar.

These TNR servers are for sure the best servers around; the people are great and they play as a team, there's no damn rules about cussing, not TOO much admin abuse (I look REZ's way ;) ) and great map rotations on #1 and #2. Anyways I hope to see y'all on the servers soon!

Can't say I've played any HL2 mods yet. Apparently that one called Minerva is supposed to be sexcellent.

Is there a thread for good HL2 mods somewhere? I want to try playing Hidden: Source with some people some time... I've never downloaded it or anything but the gameplay vids I've seen of it look like tons of fun, especially for you spy types. :)

nowai the only way you'd come accross as a jackass would be if you started using monkey tae-kwon-do positions or whatever stupid fighting system the 4th game had :P

i dunno i don't have anything good to say right now about them since they just switched me to freelance after my contract ended last week and won't schedule me for work now... i worked there a year doing 40-60hr shifts on average per week and now i just gotta kinda find a new job or call/come into the office every day to see if there's work =/

oh and if you get on a project for a long time, no matter what game it is, it gets boring... but it's like a new job when you switch titles so it's kinda cool that way. i suggest apply as long as you don't want anything long term, i guess.

Is it true that Babel's wage is around 9$/hour? If you are looking for a job and if you like phone jobs, I would tell you to go apply at Telus (the one thats downtown), they pay you like 17$/hour. But whatever you do, don't go apply at TPCAN (Bell contractor). WORST COMPANY EVER.

and i managed to work at Babel long enough to get $11.50/hr... you start at $9.50. I hate phone jobs tho, i think i'll just hit up unemployment for a bit and maybe bartend or be a barista for under the table/tips until i get enuf moneys to go to McGill... working a year with only your fingers and thumbs (and sometimes arms if you get stuck on that shit-fest of a console Wii) is not really my style i like to run around and work my ass off :P
