And im tired of hearing enemy's walking 20 miles away from where i think i hear them so i'm looking into sounds cards and this one caught my eye

Does all this meet the NR Members approval?

Well, im sure they will improve things for you. You normally cant go wrong with Creative Sound Cards, however I have never used anything made by Seasonic, or whatever they are called that makes the PS.

Seasonic makes the new Antec PSUs by the way.

Don't get the Audigy SE. If you can, find a used Audigy 2 ZS. Their budget cards apparently don't have hardware acceleration.

Well, audigy 4 7.1 is out (I am using it), was $50 at ncix.com a month ago.

5.1 sounds pretty decent on my $60 Zalman 5.1 headset. I am sure it would be kick ass with some 7.1 speakers though :P

The Audigy 4 supports accelleration (to my knowledge) + EAX support.

You can't go wrong with Seasonic, and I echo Wes' statements :p
Coincidentally that's the exact same PS I have I think. :D
