I need a 228w PSU, which leaves me baffled as to how my 380w and my 430w psu's both failed me.

Great link though, really fantastic.

edit: at the time of those failures I would have been recommended a 245w system based on what was in use at the time.

quick question: the 4 pin connectors from my PSU, is it better to use two cables for two devices, or one cable using both connections? Powering my HD and my GPU for instance.

Mine recommended 440 watts (with extra hardware), and I am running a 430 atm ^^. Once I add my extra fans+hard drive hopefully the power will still stay strong.
