I changed the airflow going through my comp and that got me interested about my temperatures.
My old Athalon 2400+ is at 49 degrees with about 20% load right now
Earlier today I was rar'ing a file for about an hour and a half (it was a big file on a slow cpu) and that was using all my cpu. Temperature? 49 degrees.
After that finished I let the computer sit for a while as i was studying, and the temperature was 49%
So load doesn't have any impact on my cpu it seems, is that normal? If it isn't, I'm thinking my heatsink setup (stock) is doing a poor job.
I'm hoping to O'C this a bit this summer, so i'm trying to figure out what's going on now.
