The need for active admins

I know you guys have your steps to get someone banned, but it's all very bureaucratic to me.

It's doesn't take a huge amount of time from time of posting to the person actually getting banned, but it's long enough to where a server could be cleared out because of a hacker or a general douche.

I'm not sure if there's active admins, but whenever I'm playing late nights, not too late like around 12 AM, there's always a douche that wrecks the game for everyone else.

I think it would be nice to get a few extra admins in the server to help stop that kind of thing.

Just an idea to possibly keep the servers constant and full / happy.

we usually have lots of admins on the servers... at least thats what i thought - we just dont really make ourselves publicly known that much...


also - its really hard to have 1 admin on 4 servers 24/7 around the clock, its really a lot of work hence the public bans section on the forums.

The other thing you can do is get to know the admins and have them on your steam friends. That way you can always message someone and have them come onto the server to kick/ban them.

Yeah there's a lack of admins on the pubs most times.
Either we get new admins or you stick to the ban requests.

just the fact you can do this is already like 100x better than most servers out there anyways...

i cant really consider the fact that ANYBODY can request a ban as a con vs a pro

This is very true, and it's nice to be able to do this.

Most of the time it doesn't even matter, though. Once the ban goes through, the person himself knows they aren't coming back, so when they get bored of being douches, their job is done and they feel strangely satisfied.

If a ban can be done in the server, it's must faster, there's less time for douchery, and examples are made.

And WiseGuy is right about the admins being unknown. I'm a regular and I only know of two, those being the server owners. A list on the site, at least, plus Steam friend's names would be nice for a quick ban.

There are curently 36 admins mind you about 10 of those admins are mia but still 26 people that you could possibly msg about a ban request if you take the time to add them to steam freinds should get the job done.

Right now I work from about 3:00 to 2:30 so if there is a ban late at night msg me and I will deal with it, however it about 2 weeks time I will be done working and will be more redily available to help out with your "bans"
