So what is everyone doing for 420.....??

I know I will be starting off the day by going downtown and getting my "legal" smoke on parliment hill and then from there continueing to smoke through the day making sure that I take full advantage of this "near pointless" day to spend stonned.

The Killing Joke, on 420 the rules on Parliment Hill are as follows, you can smoke on it, however if a cop comes up to you and tells you to put it out (only on 420) you have "20 seconds" to huff and puff away before he can "attempt" to give you a fine..... That being said I more or less just see them pull it out of your mouth once it hits the 20 second mark and then start walking to the next group of people. Today when I went there were over 1000 people one Parliment Hill smoking. It was not quite as big as last year but there was still a pretty good party going on and really the cops weren't doing anything but standing around the perimiter making sure nothing got out of hand.

Where did that rule come from? And, is it smoking 'legal' cigarettes (like Players Light) or is it legal to smoke weed?

Ha ha, I was celebrating my wife's Birthday (yeah its on April 20th) in Niagra on the Lake (stayed overnight on Thu.). Saw a Shaw play, nice dinner, too much wine. Then on Fri. night we did the local fancy dinner with Michael and his sister and a cake and all that.

oh no. lol. it was circle by sommerset maugham (not all shaw festival plays are actually plays written by shaw, last year they had the invisible man for instance). circle is a good play. all about a wife who wants to leave her husband. racy stuff for the time is was written.
