Can people please stop saying that video games teach you how to fire a gun, this is getting pretty irritating.
Yes, I play CS
Yes, It's probably more than I should
Yes, I suffer from some of the symptoms described
No, I can't accurately fire an m249 while running.

it definitely shows u how to fire and handle a gun, maybe not with extreme accuracy, but is it really that hard to hit a crowd of people at a close distance and with no one shooting back a you
when i first shot a rifle, i knew how to hold it and how to shoot it because i play video games, and i hit my first shot from 100 yards with k98 with iron sights

Same, only a winchester .22, but you get as much exposure on how to hold, and more on how to aim, from movies and TV.

but theres the interactive factor, where u are shooting and controlling it

But games are based on vectors, aiming a gun requires leading and compensating your targets. Plus sprays don't form a '7' IRL.

if its not counterstrike, its another game, if its not another game, its the internet. Blame the fucking creators of the guns, or just blame human nature if you have to blame someone. Its all inevitable.

between drugs, alcohol, or gaming id rather my kids get addicted to gaming... but as a parent i can see how it would be a serious pain in the ass... especially if it affects school grades...
if pro gaming becomes ultra lucrative as predicted... then there wont be as much fuss about it.... imagine ... by the time you young guys have kids im willing to bet there will even be pro gaming scholarships...
i agree with the one part... just as parents were terrified of rock and roll at one point.... in time this will pass too .... till the next big thing....
> omg buy yer kid a half descent monitor so he doesnt have seisures!! ... cesires.. wtf how do you spell ceisures??? lol think i been gaming too much... should have went to class!
ps god damn gooch that vid was fucked lol!

I really liked how he stated that he had acknowledged that nothing from his youth applied to his sons, very few parents have a childhood that does and fewer still are willing to admit as much.
As for seizures, It's not necessarily a monitor thing, it's a stimulus thing. However I have an epileptic friend from my old town who nows plays CS:S pretty frequently, he gets set off by loud music and copious amounts of alcohol (which he discovered while vacationing in Mexico).
