Im sure most of you younger guys don't use Outlook Express for your email, however... if you do, here is a useful link if you are going to format or if you want to transfer Outlook folders to a new PC build, as in my situation. Follow the instructions and it works flawlessly.

Coolio. I always forget my mail when I do a backup before I rebuild my machine. I used to use Outlook not outlook express but now I use Mozilla Thunderbird.

It's like Outlook, only with greater portability and security.

I do a combination of both:
GMail retrieves POP3 mail from my accounts (it polls once an hour)
Thunderbird retrieves e-mail from GMail every 15 minutes.
Alternately you can have your other mails forward to GMail so that there is not a 1 hour delay, but it's up to you :)

Thunderbird all the way!
Great for managing multiple accounts.

Like ah, negative. Don't rain all over my parade - I'm old school and I just stick with what works, and sometimes I stick with stuff that don't work. lol
I actually like Outlook Express, but thats because it hasn't really given me any issues... unlike some of you !
