hey guys i am wondering if we can get a downloads section. i know it would help with all the maps we have as well as saving people alot of trouble to have to dl them in game ect. it also would help to let people know what maps we have on our servers as well

Mano and skull would have to do this manually due to legal reasons of course, we couldnt have users freely upload stuff, that would be chaos.

That too :) but when someone joins our orange server and needs to download the map. Well, suprise, suprise you download the map from our webserver and not gameserver. So its all the same bandwith.

and if that doesnt get through, you are willing to pay for every bit of bandwidth it would eat up for the server to do that. so once again. no.

Yeah... if you want to dl the maps, just get'em off've FPSBanana, google them, or wait it out while connecting to the server. Having a downloads section invites further leeching, and just not necessary, I should think.

Chris, no offense, but your driving me bonkers already with requests. This is not the former Gibs site and it will never be. If you downloaded all sorts of maps from the Gibs site before that would explain why Tony's bandwidth plan had to be upgraded like 3 times. If the maps are custom they can be uploaded to any number of sites for download for nothing. Putting them on our site is not the answer, and I'm telling you now it wont happen.
