Soooo... Your friend wouldn't be interested in my $3,500+ worth in comics, would he? I'd give him a great deal to take 'em all! (...a really great deal, believe me.)

Why would you sell them, I thought of selling my collection of superman comics once, got an offer of like 4g's. I decided against it and from what I hear the stack is probably worth twice that.
Hold onto em till at least 2010 and you'd probably get twice what you would get now.

Good advice, however, they are really taking up a lot of space in my house... I've got five cases of comics, all in Good-Near Mint condition, and I would really love the cash.
Who offered you so much? I can't even find anyone who's interested in most of them, much less all of them.

I have a bunch - mostly superhero-type stuff - but I know that there's a bunch of X-Men collections, and many 'one-offs' which didn't 'hit', but are worth a look-see.
I know I've got a few good ones that are worth $40+ each, and many, many series.

It worked for me when I did a search on it. You need to have your title ready to go. It searches the titles by default.

I went to a convention a few years back with an ex-girlfriend of mine. she was really into the horror comics. I had printed out a list of my superman comics (Actually my dad made the list but you know) and gave them out with my number and e-mail. I had a bunch of low bids but the people from the west coast(cali) offered the most.
Try googling "comic shops" or something in google and look for contact info. Really easy way to find places. If I hear of any "good" conventions out my way I'll let you know. Though if you've got some X-Men comics I'd be willing to take a few off your hands. How early are they?

I'll have to look 'em up... I bought most of the cases from a friend of mine, but I know there's a lot of "Uncanny X-Men", "X-Factor" and some others...

If any of you are interested in FCBD, and are living in Scarborough (Or are willing to drive/bus over) you should check out Golden City Comics (http://www.goldencitycomics.com/). I shall be there, so that's reason enough to go, lol.
