Jan 24-25 Ottawa, Ontario @ Carleton University (Porter Hall)

This is going to be an amazing event for all of you who enjoy a good LAN party ^^ I attended Battle Royale last year and had such a fun time + I got to meet some fellow Ottawa gamers (namely Lopert and Optik!).

I won't be able to attend this year, because I am leaving the country a few days before, but I am helping to organize it, and really want to get the word out :)

Here are some details:
- Ticket price tbd
- We will have 100 free temporary Steam accounts for anyone who is looking to try Valve games that they don't already own
- 2 free Bawls energy drinks (they are a sponsor^^)
- Tournaments for the following games: TF2, CSS, Smash Bros Brawl, Rock Band, Starcraft, DotA, and COD4 (prizes tba)
- Lots of Left 4 Dead versus games will be set up


Please tell all of your gamer friends that live around Ottawa or who are willing to travel :)

Come join us, its a lot of fun. Play with some of the numerous people from the tnr community. Seats are limited so join up on the site and hope to see a bunch of you guys there.

But yeah, it's a lot of fun. As long as there isn't a snow storm like last time.

lol snow storm, we had friends from quebec city that drove in that horrible weather, good times tho. They are coming back XD

Is the website down? Because I'd like to sign up... After all, I failsauced at attending the last LAN that Jess set up at Carleton... and I'm a student there... blargh

Too bad I left Rock Band in Ottawa... I need to polish my mediocre drumming skills!

Thanks! I had our LAN added to the list of tournaments on the Steam site, and then I contacted an email that was listed, and they were really nice about it all :)


I may be there depending on how my student loan works out.

Sweet ! If $ is an issue- there are usually smaller LANs at Carleton that only charge $10 (donated to the Child Play charity). If you're interested, just send me a PM and I'll give you some more info ^^

They have a guy with a camera that takes pictures of all the events.

And I'm sure we'll be annoying enough to make at least an honourable mention.

not many NR regulars going, some came in late after we made our team.

Lopert, Onawire, Freezerburn, and myself cant seem to find the brakes for the rapetrain coming up.
