Hello everyone.....

Just wondering, since I obviously missed it, what happened to the DM server? I loved that server.

Yea, unfortunately the DOD server doesnt see much action either, so perhaps we will have to see what the next flavour of the month is.

Is DoD a separate game or is it a mod for CSS?

DoD is a HL mod similar to CSS. sadly i believe u have to BUY it to play it.

i think if Mano brought out a gun game again it wud do some damage, in a good way gungame is always fun, but when u play with some budds on Ventrilo with you it only makes it better

Could I suggest turning it into a TFC2 server?
I'm sure that will populate, especialy if it's up and running in time for the pre-loader maddness !

Remember how long it took for Darkly to get really, Really, REALLY bad? Like 33tic bad, like right now.
So what you're sayin there is we need to instigate the failure of another large, popular clan server and then take their poulation.

I second the person who suggested TF2, when it comes out. Since a lot of use are likely to play TF2 anyways, it'll be cool to be able to play with the usual people ;)

http://www.insmod.net/ for those that might want to check out what it's all about - it looks like sweet attempt at creating battlefied 2 under source and all you need is half life two and its a free mod

insurgency looks promising... coming out this month too. cant wait to try that out.

however... TF2 > all.

thx for the welcome - well i never played team fortress but tf2 looks fun too - i just like the look of insurgency as i like battlefield but at least ths is on source so no cd's etc ot worry about :D

Watch out for 1.0 versions of mods, I don't really know if the Insurgency dev team has their marbles together, but there is almost always a ton of lag
