Should I? I know I kill minimum specs, but, is it safe?

has anyone else got the vista AIDS? If all the extra shit is turned off is it slower, equal to, or faster than XP?

also, if I go about doing it im not going to be a total retard, I want a dual boot setup. . . I know that XP will kill grub any time its installed after the *nix, so should I install vista then install my *nix flavour of choice, or does vista actually allow for dual boots on its own?

Anyone running CSS on Vista? Is it running ok? Did you have to do anything special to get it running or was it ok from day one?

its fine except for a bit less fps last time i tried, but if if u like ur sound vista will make it bad, and render your sound card useless

Oh....so are you saying it is better to stick with XP for now? My bf is buying a new computer and I have him hooked on CSS but I don't want it to play like shit if he uses vista.

Anyway back on topic here. Did you require any patches or any changes to your configuration to get CSS to work on Vista?

I am running CSS on Vista just fine, the only thing you will have to worry about are sound drivers, I have to use an older sound card driver because all the new ones may have better sound quality but the mic doesn't work with them.

Also running Vista. I upgraded my sound card, to relieve the problems as stated above, and my mic is USB, so no worries here. Creative Labs just recently updated their sound drivers, so it's a win-win.

I like Vista.
