pretty sick if you ask me! grab HL2: DM and meet KT in some empires (omfg mike if you only knew how long it took me to remember the name of that mod! -__-)

The latest Empires uses the Source SDK Base, but it's officially in a semi-closed beta.

I used to play Empires...wait...it's in closed beta? Isn't it already out...

There is a public version out (1.07) but the next version (1.1 or 1.8 or 1.08, we don't know what to call it) is ultra huge and flashy (sneaky hint: http://empiresmod.com/help/readme.txt)
It's under testing by community members currently.

Left to do:
fix assorted bugs
finish new weapon models and animations for 5 weapons
Balance weapons
Other goodies

If you want to play the beta Jeff, I can hook you up. Otherwise, I'll let you guys know when it comes out.
