Iocaine Studios is looking for a few (5,000, actually) gamers to help "stress test" (http://www.hyperbol.com/) its debut action-strategy game, ThreadSpace Hyperbol, slated for release on Steam in the next few weeks.

The goal of the Stress Test is to ensure the game is ready to host massive numbers of players and servers, as well as to offer a sneak peek at the unique gameplay.

ThreadSpace: Hyperbol is an action-strategy game set in the distant future. Players battle each other on roads in space as they pilot massive ships capable of firing a wide variety of weapons. Create defenses, coordinate with your team, and launch an assault against your opponents to achieve victory.

Click here (http://www.hyperbol.com/) to sign up today. The Stress Test will run for one week, concluding at midnight on Sunday, July 1. Be sure to play through the tutorials to get a feel for the game. Note that characters created during the Stress Test will be wiped before the game is released.

Yea I was saddened by it's attempt at almost TurnBasing attacks and moves during a RealTime battle. More keys for camera control then there are for ship manovering.

It's got so much potential but as Crayola said, for now its slow and very Stratagy based, I was hoping for arcade style play.

Mannnn it's so complex, I was never sure whether to attack or set up defenses and run. I usually stayed back and curved shots around to piss people off, but it would take a long time to master

As it is though, I like it and didn't have that much of a problem with aiming

Wow, it's kinda complex, but really cool. I think I could get used to it and really enjoy it.

That's pretty much how I got ranked in the top 100 for Dystopia for a while.
