Hey all,
Just wondering if any of you would be interested in playing some shinny one night coming up in the next months or so...It's the summer and i'm only playing one night a week, so i'm desperate for more ice time. Depending on how many are interested i'd be willing to rent it myself. I'll even see if i can get some pros to come for a skate if they're willing.

depending on where you get ice, i'll play. Which means you've got one goalie.

If you live in the Ottawa area I can get you playing at least 4 nights a week..... and for Shinny again if it is in the Ottawa area I am down.....
By pros do you mean OHL(Not Pros)..... or NHL(Pros)?
Bassed on the responses your getting from people about hockey I am not to sure that having some *pros* is that great of an idea, as it might just ruin the experence for some of the other not so good hockey players.
All that being said if you do get some ice in the Ottawa area I would be interested but I have this funny feeling that your talkin about Toronto. Either way it should still be a fun time and a good way to meet and hang out with each other. Hope it all goes well.

NHL, usually have 3 0r 4 out whenever we get the ice in the summer. I've got 2 on my beer league team right now.

Thought about this as well. However, it may also be fun for some to see just how good some of these guys are first hand.

Yeah, it would definitely be in the Toronto area. Although, if your willing to make the trip this way, in the winter we actually get ice at the ACC, Copps Coliseum and The Hershey Center. That's the best experience ever. We usually get some strings pulled at the ACC and use the visitors dressing room, and get a tour of all the leafs facilities.

Yeah but the Leafs suck so doesn't mean a whole lot to me :p but the experence would still be neat.

That would depend on who is around and what not...but, Matt Foy (http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?page=PlayerDetail&playerId=8470165&service=page), Matt Stajan (http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?page=PlayerDetail&playerId=8470162&service=page) and Mike Mole (http://echl.leaguestat.com/stats/player.php?id=742) would be probabilities. Jason spezza, carlo and paulo coliacavo as well as a few others depending if they're in town, or sober enough to come out.
