This game just came out on the 9th by Futuremark Studios - the creators of the GPU benchmark tool 3DMark (http://www.futuremark.com/community/3dmark10years/). Rez convinced me to purchase it and for the most part its pretty fun. It has a combination of deathmatch play and many Capture the point style maps.
Completely 3-D, you can land on any surface, attack your enemies from above, heck even rocket boost and melee kill them from behind. Not to mention you can turn off auxiliary systems on your space suit, turning into a stealth-like state from which you can ambush your enemies.
Be forewarned that this is a graphically intensive game. I found at max it pushed my fps lower than Crysis on max overall. The game only works on Vista/7 and on Direct X10 capable hardware and above - Nvidia Geforce 8 Series +, ATI Radeon 3xxx series and above cards only.
Word on the street is that there is a lot of free DLC in the works too. For the price of $20, whats not to like? If you are getting tired of typical FPS' this might just be what the doctor ordered.
Pros:
Very reasonable $20 price tag
Awesome fully 3-D environments
Solid fighting mechanics
Potential free DLC coming
Rifle can switch grenade types on the fly
Cons:
Lack of guns, you start with one rifle/grenade launcher combo
Could be more content available at release
Requires a beefy system to run well
No single player mode
Overall: 8.4/10
Metacritic: 74/100 (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/shatteredhorizon?part=rss)
