Hey everyone,
Here is a letter that I got from our Ventrilo provider:
*** ATTENTION TORONTO CUSTOMER ***
After extensive testing & research we have decided to transfer your server from its current data center to our Peer1 Network in Toronto.
Peer1 is one of North America’s premier datacenters providing all tier 1 backbone providers. The results of our extensive tests showed an improvement in performance (Stability, Uptime, & latency) by 60%.
Due to this transfer your server will be restarted Monday morning between the hours of 5AM & 8AM EST. The downtime of this restart should be no longer than 5 minutes.
Our old IP was 209.172.34.22:3893
Our new one will be: 76.74.141.131:3893
As an alternative you can put vent.northernresistance.com into the IP field and that will update whenever our server IP updates in the future.
