I like to get into the games I play....which are mostly action....they need action filled songs...cause well lets face it, WoW's music while great the first time you hear it....gets to be annoying.

Songs I already listen to so you have an idea of what I'm looking for:

Ozzy Ozbourne - I don't wanna stop
Offspring - Can't Repeat
Iced Earth - My Own Saviour
Avenged Seven Fold - Beast and the harlot

That's just a lil of what I like, bands like Pearl Jam, Offspring, Linkin Park, Iced Earth, Rise Against, etc....

If anyone can post up some names of bands or songs it'd be a real help.

Thanks,

Cheeto

ummm...

ac/dc - highway to hell, thunderstruck, TNT,
the ramones - i wanna be sedated, rock and roll highschool, blitzkrieg bop
iron maiden - aces high, the trooper, hallowed be thy name
van halen - jump, panama
guns n' roses - welcome to the jungle, sweet child o mine, civil war
queen - dont stop me now, save me, we will rock you, another one bites the dust

i dont really fancy rock music and games tbh, think youre better off with trance or hip hop.

Though not rock, I tend to put on Velvet Acid Christ, Combichrist, Prodigy, and various other industrial/trance type music. Gets you right hyped, it does! Granted, anything that you regularly enjoy could have the same effect.

*thumbs up @ cray for QotSA*

meh, Rock songs may get you into the game, but I find when people get too into it they start making a lot of really bad strategic decisions... mind you, strategy on a pub etc, etc.
Still I try to stick to something that keeps you somewhat detached from the gunfire.

See but Techno with it's beeps and bops and boops become distracting in thier own right.

With rock you're all "SHOOT TO KILL BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

At least....that's how I get.....Ask Winston he was in the computer room in a mini lan when I put my mp3 player on....I had it cranked so loud everyone could hear it.

Note my positive KPD over you, score 1 for distractions.
