So heres the deal i spent $22 to rma my damn psu from antec (which i regret) and probably wont get it back before school starts back up, so im just gonna order another psu and snatch a new processor while im at it.

Heres my setup:

OCZ Gold PC2-6400 2GB DDR2-800
Evga 7900gt

Heard good things about OCZ and Silverstone, albeit that they are less renound then Corsair, look at the reviews, look at your 12v rails, but bawls to the wall, I've had nothing but perfect ratings from Enermax, I have a 350w that's lasted through 4 pc's (around 5 years now) and it's been kicked, dropped, thrown, hooked up and unhooked incorrectly, they're damn near indestructible. (They also weigh more then any other PSU I've ever had by about 35%+

I have the Silverstone Strider 750watt and have had no issues whatsoever. Very nicely built and has a great modular plug set-up.

I would always go with a bigger power supply, which will accommodate potential additions and upgrades to your system. Take the OCZ for the $.

Ive heard only good things about OCZ, and it does have the most power, so i would go with that one

Zimba, the OCZ Stealth is on sale at Direct Canada cheap. Link here: http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=13220AC0022&vpn=OCZ600SXS&manufacture=OCZ

If you live in Ontario, price comes to $88.29 CND including tax, shipping, and the -$10 mail in rebate. Cheapest deal on this PSU atm - I spent two hours last night crunching numbers and comparing PSU's (My 430W is dieing after only 8 months). I bought the 600W Stealth last night.

Since you are not SLI'ing, this PSU should deliver pretty darn good power for at least 3 years. It has a three year warranty from OCZ after all.

The only downside is that the fan can be noisy according to reviewers. Some reviewers are also whiny little whores that want everything for next-to-nothing. :D

even with sli a 600W SHOULD be enough with the rest of that system

Don't forget to check that/those 12v rails, High performance systems you should go for 35-40a(combined) +.

this is probablly no help but I got an OCZ at the beginning of the year and have had no problems with it, also like that in my case the psu is at the bottom so it glows blue upwards. looks pretty :)

I hope that others have a little chuckle like I did when I pictured Butters from SP saying this ;)

I got the OCZ Stealth installed. It is not that loud at all. Upped my fps by ~30 avg since my old psu was dieing. Good shite, just went 21-5 on the pub.
